Whales, Lunch & Alpacas

~August 18th 2026 with 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM~ Enjoy a 60-minute guided tour of the New Bedford Whaling Museum! After our tour we will dine nearby at Mikey B’s! After lunch we will head to the Hill Crest Alpaca Farm located in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Being a “mom & pop” operation has given them the hands-on knowledge of what is needed for high quality Alpacas. Their selected herd of Alpacas are some of the finest in the region. Shirley, who not only cards and spins the fleece produced on the farm, also knits fine baby apparel and scarves among other things. This gives her a unique insight into a fleece’s quality, not just the looks. They also host an ice cream stand where you will enjoy an included ice cream on a nice summer day!

Roundtrip motorcoach transportation, New Bedford Whaling Museum guided tour, lunch at Mikey B’s and Hill Crest Alpaca Farm visit & ice cream. $120 per person
